BUREAU COUNTY HOMESTEAD FESTIVAL PARADE ENTRIES NOW OPEN! Registration for the Bureau County Homestead Festival Parade is now open. Anyone who is interested in participating in this year's parade must turn in an entry form. This includes any organization, church, band, club, and class reunion that wants to have an entry in the parade. Parade entries are encouraged to use this year's festival theme, "Small Town - Big Heart". There is no fee to enter the parade. The parade will start at 1:30 p.m. Saturday September 10th on Main Street. The deadline for parade applications is Friday August 26th.
