They are a spirited bluegrass band that offers some old-time music as well. Mike and Lisa are joined by their two oldest sons, Michael Jr. and Albert. Mike plays the banjo, Clawhammer style, and the bass; Lisa plays the fiddle, spoons, and bass; Michael Jr. plays the banjo using a three-fingered Scruggs style and also plays the bass; and Albert plays rhythm guitar and flatpicks.
